Return and Refund Policy

At Eugene Ivanov Gallery, every painting is an original, one-of-a-kind artwork. We take great care in preparing and delivering each piece and are committed to making the purchasing experience transparent and reassuring.

14-Day Returns

Customers purchasing as consumers have the right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 days of receiving their artwork, without providing a reason, where applicable under consumer protection law.

For orders containing multiple artworks delivered separately, the withdrawal period begins upon delivery of the final artwork.

If the deadline falls on a weekend or public holiday, it is extended to the next working day in accordance with applicable law.

To request a return, contact us at theeugeneivanovmail@gmail.com, stating your order number and your decision to withdraw. Your notification must be sent before the withdrawal period expires.

You may use the model withdrawal form at the end of this policy, although it is not mandatory.

Return Shipping & Packaging

Once you have notified us of your withdrawal, you must dispatch the artwork within 14 days.

Because original paintings require careful handling and protection, we recommend using their original packaging and a tracked, insured shipping service.

Customers are responsible for the direct shipping costs of change-of-mind returns, including international return shipping where applicable.

Please contact us before returning an artwork to obtain the appropriate return instructions and address.

We do not charge restocking fees.

You are responsible only for any reduction in the artwork's value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and condition.

Refunds

Following a valid withdrawal, we will refund all payments received for the returned artwork, including any applicable standard outbound delivery charges.

As we provide complimentary outbound shipping, there are normally no separate shipping charges to refund.

Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notification. We may withhold reimbursement until we receive the returned artwork or evidence that it has been sent back, whichever occurs first.

Refunds are issued using the original payment method unless otherwise expressly agreed, without additional refund fees.

Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Artworks

We carefully inspect and package every original painting before dispatch.

If an artwork arrives damaged, defective, or differs from what you ordered, please contact us promptly at theeugeneivanovmail@gmail.com.

Where possible, include photographs of the artwork, its packaging and any visible damage to help us assess the situation.

We will arrange an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable consumer protection law. Depending on the circumstances, this may include repair, a price reduction, or a refund.

Where the gallery is legally responsible for a defective or incorrectly supplied artwork, necessary return shipping costs will not be charged to the customer.

Your statutory rights regarding defective goods remain unaffected.

Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled through Shopify's cancellation process until fulfillment, in accordance with our store's cancellation settings.

If your artwork has already been dispatched, please contact us to discuss the available options.

Your statutory withdrawal rights remain applicable regardless of whether the artwork has been shipped.

International Returns

For returns originating outside the European Union, please contact us before dispatching the artwork so we can provide appropriate shipping and customs instructions.

Any customs requirements, charges, or procedures will be handled in accordance with applicable regulations and the circumstances of the return.
